Gianna Dior Gets ‘Psychosexual’

 Gianna Dior is certainly not lacking in career accomplishments. She’s been honored as the Penthouse Pet of the Year, she was named a Vixen Angel, and she won an AVN award as Best New Starlet in 2020. Even so, she had arguably not had a prime featured role that allowed her to show her acting talents as well as her sexual charisma. Well, the moment has finally arrived, because it’s time for Gianna to get Psychosexual!

An ambitious project that spanned several Vixen Media Group brands on its initial release, Psychosexual charts the sexual journey of a promiscuous therapist (Dior). The movie sets the tone early on with a nerve-jangling car crash that puts Dior’s character on a certain life path. The movie takes us forward to several chapters in her later life, as she struggles to balance her desires with her career and family. Compiled into a single feature, the movie’s five segments take on an epic length, skillfully sustained by writer/director Kayden Kross.

“It was definitely a very emotionally difficult project to do,” Dior told AVN. “I had to really dig into personal feelings and grief and pain that I’ve experienced. And I feel that was the most difficult part. But I allowed myself to feel it and that I think everybody can relate to—not letting themselves feel things because it’s so difficult.”

The movie also melds the aesthetics of various Vixen Media brands. The urgent stylings of Blacked Raw are evident in scene one, for example, while Deeper’s trademark psychological underpinnings are evident throughout. Dior is the main subject of the movie’s intimate sequences, but she does step aside in one scene, allowing Avery Cristy to get into the action. The movie is further enlivened by cameos from pornstar luminaries such as Katie Morgan and Steve Holmes.

Psychosexual has also gained attention for its prominent billboard promotion in a highly visible part of Hollywood in Los Angeles. “Seeing our work on a billboard is both surreal and validating,” said Kross. “Vixen Media Group is constantly redefining what it means to be in the adult space and it’s been amazing to be a part of that.”
